Flowers For You

Hello Friends! Happy Hump Day!
I hope that you are having a great week. I sure am! I am busy-busy-busy. But I took yesterday for me. I didn't intend to but it worked out that way and I feel refreshed and like a new woman today. I met a friend for coffee, I got a mani and a pedi, I bought myself some new clothes...and I didn't rush through any of it. Now I feel like I can tackle all of the stuff that I have to do before leaving for CHA with a smile on my face.

Today, I have another new Riley Moose image to share with you! This is one of the 4 new images that will be released tomorrow. How adorable is Riley holding his bouquet of fresh picked flowers?! Riley's face is so adorable that I am sure he makes his sweetheart swoon without the need for flowers. :)

Just a reminder that the Riley & Company Design Team is having a blog hop starting at 10 pm EST tonight. I really hope that you will join us...I think you will find it worth your time!! ;) Start over at the Riley & Company blog where I am sure Tanya will have a great project for you.

I am going to keep this post short and sweet today. It is nearly 6 am and I haven 't gone to bed yet. :P And I still have to get some things done before doing so. That makes this a long day!

Have an Exhilarating Wednesday!!

Riley's Back!

Hello! Happy Tuesday! I am so glad that you stopped by today.

I had promised you that I would post a new Riley yesterday but I had some "technical difficulties" with my camera and my computer yesterday and was unable to get this post up. At least the other blog hop was pre-scheduled to post.

Anyhooooooo, Riley is back!! And cuter than ever! This is Birthday Riley. If you followed Riley's journey, you know that back in Nov/Dec the line of Riley stamps was sold to Tanya, who created Riley and Company. Yeah! I am so happy that Riley will continue to live on!

Yesterday was the first day of peeks for the 3 new Rileys being released on January 21st. AND there will be a Riley and Company Design Team blog hop tomorrow, January 20th starting at 10pm!!! WoooHooooo!

Meanwhile, Please be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team have been making. If you have been a Riley Fan you will Recognize some familiar faces and be pleased to see some new ones too!
Have a Delightful Tuesday!

Blog Hoppin' Fun with Hanna Stamps!

Hello! Hello!! Welcome to the Hanna Stamps Blog Hop!!!
Hopefully you arrived here from Kristi's blog...she is stop #1 in our hop...hop...hop! This is a very special blog hop today because we are celebrating the 2 Hanna-versary of Hanna Stamps!!! How Fun!!!! And you know what that means? Prizes all around!!! Each Hanna Stamps DT member will randomly draw a winner from the comments left on the blog hop posts until tomorrow evening. Then we will announce the winners at the release party Monday night over in the Hanna Forum on SCS. What will you win? A Riley Moose Stamp! But get to the end of the hop and leave a comment and win a $50 gift certificate to Hanna Stamps!! How awesome are those prizes!?!?!?!

Meanwhile I have 2 cards for you...Both use stamps that will be released tomorrow. To the left is Nurse Sophie. I made this card for my friend Kristen who has gone back to school to get her degree in nursing. I am so proud of her!! She is a mom of 2 young kids, who do lots of activities, a wife, works part time, does homework, studies and still makes the dean's list. AS you can image, sometimes she feels like it's just too much. I feel overwhelmed just thinking about all she does! So I thought a "hang in there" seemed appropriate.

Next up I used the Super Hanna set. This is a SUPAH fun set! When I first saw it, I immediately thought about putting an "M" on her chest for Super Mom! And thought it would be a super Mother's FUN Mother's day card. I also used Silke's sketch for this past Friday's Hanna Stamps challenge.

I hope that you enjoyed your stop here! Thanks for coming by.
>>>Nest Stop: Frances' Blog. I know that she will have some fabulous eye candy for you!
Enjoy all the stops! And don't forget to comment!

Have a Stupendous Day!

More Peeks with Hanna Stamps!

Happy Sunday! Did everyone have an enjoyable World Card Making Day? Did you get lots of cards or projects made?
The card here on the left was made for the Hanna Stamps WCMD challenge on SCS. Hanna Stamps provided a sketch to follow. You can view the thread here. You have until 6 pm tonight to share your completed sample to win. Hanna Stamps will be giving 5 lucky players stamps from the new release Hanna Stamps which will be released this Monday night!! The winners will be announced on the official Winner's Thread on Monday!! (scs)

The next card is another card that uses an image from the Super Hanna set. Lots of fun images in this set!! For the background I used Co'redinations Black Magic cardstock. One side of the cardstock is black the other side had a orange-y/yellow color. I used my Swiss Dot cuttlebug folder...then I sanded it. That way we could see the color where the embossed dots were. I wanted to give the effect of stars. I use Platinum Stickles on the shooting star.

Have visited the blogs of the rest of the DT to see more sneak peeks? You should!! Fantastic samples to be seen!!

Ribbon Riley is In The House!

Hello!
Just a quick evening post to share this Ribbon Riley stamp that Hanna Stamps just released today!

You can purchase Riley Stamps mounted or unmounted. You can find Ribbon Riley HERE. The sentiment is from the Hanna Breast Cancer Awareness set.

You can find a list of ribbon colors for your cause of choice at this website.
I didn't realize there were so many ribbons. If I actually wore a ribbon for everything that affected myself, hubby, and our kids directly I'd be wearing about 15 - 20 ribbons! I didn't realize what a basket case we were as a unit! LOL! And that doesn't even include causes that I support like "anti-terrorism". heeheeheehee!

So head on over to Hanna Stamps to get your Riley Stamp to show support for your cause! Think of the cute Thank You notes this would make for those of you that collect donations and do walks...etc...

Have a Fantabulous Evening!

Strummin' on the ol' banjo

Stamps: Wheat Riley
Paper: Recollections Autumn paper pack
Other: Mustard colored buttons; Nesties; Gold satin ribbon from Michaels; Copics
Card Measures 5.5" sq

Hello! Happy Thursday! Thanks for coming by today!
How is your week going? It's been a little hectic around here this week. Orla was already sent home from school sick. So she has been home a couple of days. There are some things going on with Declan's education program that have to be worked out. And of course I waited til the last minute to make 12 cards to send out to Inky Antics. Why do I procrastinate so much? I have such good intentions with many things....but then put them off and put them off... Speaking of which, if you have won something in the past month or so from my blog and have not yet received it...it is because it is just being mailed out today. Sorry for my delay. With all my IA cards done and today's card already made, I spent Wednesday night getting packages ready to go the PO. I also started to go through my Stampin' Up stamp sets. I have to start cleaning out. I think I probably have a couple hundred SU! sets that I don't ever use. They are just taking up precious shelf space in my stamp room. I will be saving most of my sentiment sets and a few holiday sets...but I will be liquidating all the others! Every thing must GO! GO! GO! LOL! I also must learn to stop buying things in large quantities and then just hoarding them. Remember when those little white tin lunch boxes were all the craze and they were hard to find? That is because I bought them all...and still have them!!! YIKES!
Anyhooooo, as previously mentioned, I have good intentions....but we'll see how much I actually part with. LOL

This Wheat Riley image was just released this month from Hanna Stamps! Isn't he the cutest?! I just love farm and country stuff! And have I mentioned that I love Fall too?! heeheehee

Thanks to everyone who went over to Elena's blog and showed her some support. I wasn't lying when I said she is a great stamper, was I? I hope that she continues to stamp and share her wonderful creations with all of us.

It's 1 am and I am going to try to get to bed "early" tonight (Wed. Night) ...so I am going to stop blabbing now.

Have a legendary Thursday!!!

Hanna Stamps Blog Hop!

Hello! Welcome to the Hanna Stamps Blog Hop! Thanks for stopping by!
If you came here from Silke's blog then you are probably on the right path. If not, you want to go back to Frances' blog and start there!

I saved my two favorite cards for the hop today. I hope that you like them too.

My first card uses the Goth Hanna stamp set again. I really like this set! It's fun. And I think its perfect for pre-teen and teen girls. I used this paper that I have had for awhile, but couldn't find the right card to use it on. (It's from the Rusty Pickle Pirate Princess collection). Again I sponged the edges while keeping the nestabilities die on. I added Clear Stickles on her tank top and also on the skulls bow...I think glitter makes everything seem girlier. :) heeheehee

Then I have my favorite moose couple on this next card! Along with some of my favorite paper that I bought from the Netherlands EBay site. I paper pieced Sophie's dress. I also find myself adding bows to more cards lately. I am being influenced by one of my favorite stampers, Sharon! :)

********And now for the real fun! I am so tickled to be able to give away the BLOG HOP CANDY!! Who wants to win a $20 gift card from Hanna Stamps!?!?!?!? Leave a comment on this blog post by Tuesday afternoon...I will randomly select a winner and announce the winner at the Release Party on Tuesday night. (9pm Eastern (USA) time at the SCS forum)

Y'all come back now, y'hear?!

Helloooo! Thanks for stopping by again today.
I hope that you are enjoying a great (holiday) weekend! I know that in Massachusetts we are finally getting rewarded for the horrid rainy months we had in June and July with some beautiful late summer weather. Low 80's, sunny, not humid. We so deserve this! :)
We had a beautiful day at the beach today. The kids all had blast in the water and the sand. Then we came home and had a delicious BBQ dinner. Pat's nieces and nephew are fantastic to have around...Orla is having so much fun, as is Declan, and since they are a tad bit older than my kids they are great minders for Maeve too. (They dote on her and she soaks it all up. LOL) But this also lets us relax and enjoy the time with everyone. A silly side note: As I have mentioned my DH, Pat, is from Ireland...of course his brother is too and so is his wife...I always notice that when I am with all of them I start to speak with a brogue! LOL! I also start use more of my Irish "terms". The thing is, when I was younger and my mother (also from Ireland) would do this when she spoke on the phone to her sisters or had her Irish friends around, it drove me nuts! Like where was this accent hiding the rest of the time? heehee...I become more and more like my mother every day. :) sssshhh...I won't admit that to her! hahahaha

Anyhoooooo, I hope that you are enjoying this months Hanna Stamps sneak peeks as much as I am sharing them!!! How cute is this Mr & Mrs Farmer Riley image?! It reminds of a much cuter version of this painting by Grant Wood. I think this would make way cute Thanksgiving cards too. I have to admit that I love "farm themed" stamps and stuff.

Just a reminder that Sunday night at 10pm eastern (USA) time there will be a Hanna Stamps blog hop starting at the Hanna Stamps blog!

Have a Splendid Sunday!

Wild For Shopping!!!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by today! Tonight's the night! There is a big Hanna Stamps release party going on over at the Hanna forum on SCS...and after that The release of the new stamps at the Hanna Store!! Please join the fun!! I am hoping to make it over to the release party as they are always filled with lots of laughs! And you might even win a prize!!
I also want to point out that Hanna Stamps is having their second round for the Guest Designer contest....you can view all the FABBY projects here. I haven't had a chance to comment on them yet, but I have seen them and there is lots of eye candy!

This is another one of the 5 individual little Hanna's being released tonight. I think this one is probably my favorite! I LOVE to shop! LOL! So of course I colored her in one of my fave color combos: Pink, Brown and Green. I wonder what she has in those bags??? In my case it would be stamping supplies and house decor....but most likely diapers and children's clothing! I am not a "shoe" girl...Give me a pair a flip flops and I am satisfied. :0)

Next up I used this sweet Safari Riley for a sweetheart card. :) I thought a moose in safari gear would be cute saying "wild about you"! heeheehee!

We are having a beautiful weather day here on Cape Cod! So I hve to run to get the kids ready for some swimming.

Hope to see you tonight at the release party!

Have a Magnificent Monday!

More Peeks!!!!

Stamps: Safari Riley
Paper: Basic Grey Marrakech;
Ink: memento black; Copics
Other: Chocolate grosgrain; hemp twine; SU! button; CB embossing folder; nestabilities

Hello, my Friends! How are you on this lovely Sunday? I hope that you are enjoying a lovely weekend.

We are having some beautiful weather for out vacation week. There has been some showers a few nights...and about a half hour of rain on Thursday afternoon....but otherwise gorgeous and sunny. A little humid here and there, but not too bad....except on Thursday. My mom's b-day was yesterday, so my sisters came down here for a couple days and we had a lovely day yesterday. Today we are not doing much and I looking forward to that. Pat (and the pups) will be going home tomorrow so we will probably not do as much. We were trying to do the day events while he was here. Now we will spend more time at the beach and playing mini golf and stuff. nothing too exciting.

For today's Hanna Peeks the top card shows you Safari Riley Moose. He is Caaaa-UTE! I love his outfit! LOL!

The second card is another one of the new "little" Hanna's that will be available soon at Hanna Stamps! Did I mention how much I love these?!?! The rest of the Hanna Stamps DT sista's have some FANTABULOUS sneak peeks of other Riley's and Hanna's, (including a couple of FUN large Hanna sets) that I am not showcasing this month so be sure to hop on over to their blogs and check them out!!!

Sneak Peeks for Hanna Stamps!

Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah! It's Sneak Peek time again for Hanna Stamps!! uh-huh. uh-huh. uh-huh-uh-huh-uh-huh! I am so silly! It has been a long hot day for me today. (I am typing this Thursday night.)

No vacation pics today. Too tired to get off my butt and go get the camera to upload the pics. We went to Plimoth Plantation. It was hot and incredibly MUGGY and sticky! My hair expanded by about 5 feet! The pic I have there on the sidebar is with my nice, flat ironed, behaved hair....but in every day life I have very thick, very curly hair. And in the humidity is grows into a giant monster! I think I frightened the pilgrims! LOL! I remember going to Plimoth Plantation when I was in grade school on a fieldtrip and with my parents....but I have been out of grade school for sometime and it doesn't seem as fun as it use to be. :P Especially in the extreme muggies! Declan does not like the heat and he was miserable too...which made it even harder to enjoy. I was happy to be back in the car with the A/C blasting in my face. My mom arrived here today to spend the rest of the time with me. Pat will go home and back to work on Monday. After all, someone has to work to support my lavish lifestyle! LOL! These days he feel like he is working for markers! (Copics!) heeheeheehee! Poor poor Pat. Such a hard worker and I love to spend it all! But with my mom's arrival the kids went haywire! And Maeve is still awake I think! (it's nearly midnight) Why is it that kids never seem to get worn out? Yet I feel like a washed up rag?

But I digress, Back to Hanna Stamps Peeks! First up is School Girl Sophie and (retro) School Boy Riley! They are SO STINKIN' CUTE! I made this pencil holder back in June for Orla's teacher. The paper is imaginisce. The apple was a chipboard shape that I covered with SU! papers. I wish I had better handwriting to put his name on there...but you get what you get! On opposite panels I put Riley and Sophie. I included a close up of each.
I made a card for Orla to give her teacher with Sophie...then a card for Declan's teacher with Riley. I think they came out so cute! I loved these stamps and could hardly wait to show you. What do you think? Aren't these school Moose adorable?!

School Boy Riley is a retro release so he is available now at Hanna Stamps. Sophie will be available Monday night after the release party over at the HS forum on SCS. Be there or be square!!

Have a Fantastic Friday!

Ink: Memento Black; Copics
Other:
Nesties; Various SU! punches; red Polka Dot Ribbon; Red and orange brads; Build a Brad from SU!
Card Measures 4.5 inches square

Hello Everyone! So sorry that it has been a ghost town around here lately. This Saturday I am leaving for Cape Cod for 2 weeks. So I am trying to get cards ready for while I am gone for things like the Hanna Stamps August releases and the upcoming 3ct challenges and somethings for Magnolia-licious. But I feel like I am just running place and not getting ahead at all! :P
The thing is that I only get to stamp after 8 pm....and with only making 1-2 cards a night (2 is a phenomenal night!) ...it's not getting me far. I also can't necessarily get down to my craft room every night. I don't know how some of these other bloggers/card designers keep up! LOL! Well, I did make 12 cards that I can't show you until after CHA. So that also took up some of my time. Of course I forgot to take pics of 3 of them...so you will just have to my word for it. LOL!

But for today I have Brand Spankin' New Fireman Riley who is a Surprise mid month release from Hanna Stamps! In fact I don't think he is even in the store yet! I'll let you know when it is.

See you tomorrow with another 3CTC!

Have a Great evening!

Hanna Stamps July Release Day!!

Hello! Happy Monday! I hope that everyone had a delightful weekend. Guess what??? It finally stopped raining here! Saturday and Sunday were both perfect days for holiday BBQ's! Today is another beautiful day. I can't tell you how happy I am to see that rain gone! It rained almost the entire month of June. It was very depressing. Do you think it was Hanna and Riley that brought out the sun? I dunno...but they always make me smile!

This Ice Cream Riley is sporting a lovely pink jacket for today's TechnoStampers sketch! I flipped the sketch 90º and added the oval for the sentiment. You can join in with MJ's sketches too. Upload a card to your blog or SCS and leave a link with her MR. Linky for all to check out and ooooh and aaaaaah over!

Hanna Stamps is hosting a release party tonight (Monday) in the HS Forum on SCS from 9-11 pm Eastern time. It's always fun and full of laughs...I hope that you join us!

Also don't forget to check out the blogs of all the DT members for more sneak peeks! There is a Mermaid Hanna that is WAY TOO CUTE that I didn't show you here.

Day 3 of Hanna's Peeks!!!!

Hello Friends! Thanks for coming by today! I am sorry to be late posting today. But I hope that you enjoy today's Hanna Stamps Sneak Peeks!

First up we have Cyber Riley! This month Hanna Stamps is releasing Riley with a laptop and Riley with an Ice Cream...sounds like my heaven! LOL! Below is another card using the Retro released Perfect Package set...me likey this set! LOL!

More Peeks with Hanna Stamps!

Happy 4th of July my American Friends! I hope that you have a fun day with your family and friends!

I know that this adorable Liberty Riley is not a sneak peek...but I couldn't let today go by and not post it. I really {heart} this stamp!!!!!

Onto the sneak peaks. First up is another look at the Cyber Hanna set. WAY FUN set!!!! This Hanna looks a little younger than the other Hanna's to me. But the glasses looked like my BFF's glasses so I stamped them on her. You know what I LOVE about clear stamps? Stamping those teeney tiny little glasses on her little face was so easy! I was a little nervous because I had the entire card done when I noticed the glasses...and if I messed up I would have been SO MAD.

Finally this last card also uses the Cyber Hanna set. I know it is not my typical style card....but I really wanted to use that DELETE stamp. I always say that the best thing about email or internet "relationships"/communities is that you can simply ignore things and press DELETE! No need to get your panties in a bunch...just DELETE. ;) I kind of made this card with the thought that someone might give it to a co-worker who was having a bad day. I mean we have a day here and there that we'd like to DELETE. Remember that you can view more Hanna Stamps Sneak Peeks all weekend at the blogs of all the talented DT members:

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope that my international friends have a Super Saturday! And my American Friends have a Fabulous 4th! (don't eat too many hamburgers!)

Christmas, Coffee, & Ice Cream

Happy Friday!! Today starts the July Sneak Peeks for Hanna Stamps!! Yay!!!

Today I am hosting the Hanna Stamps Weekly Challenge (HSC76) over in the HS forum at SCS! So I really hope that you will join us for this one! This is my first time hosting...Don't leave me hangin'! ;) LOL!

The theme I chose for this week is Christmas in July! Any Hanna/Riley stamps...just the card should have a Christmas theme.

I used this months Retro set: Perfect Package! Each month during the summer months Hanna Stamps is having a retro set/Riley....a set that was previously release and is being re-focused on so that newbies don't miss it and those that have it get fresh inspiration from the current DT. This is a FUN set! In addition to this Hanna image and prezzie there is a gift tag, sentiment, bows, more prezzies...etc...! You can view this set here....but I wouldn't go shopping yet! More sets are being released Monday night and you may as well save on shipping and get them all sent out at once. :) Plus Kristi usually offers a discounted bundle...including the retro set.

What? One peek is not enough? Well then, let me introduce Ice Cream Riley! Now, Riley is cute no matter what....but what is more delicious than a moose and an ice cream?! Do you see his ice cream? Do you wonder what that thing sticking out is? mmmmm.....mmmmmm....mmmmmm! Let me tell you...it is heaven is what it is! LOL! I know that the Brits and Irish that visit my blog know exactly what is going on with Riley's ice cream....but we do not have Flake's in America....I think Canada might...not sure though. And without Flake's we cannot have a Flake 99. I know....it is very unfortunate. As most of you know, both my mom and my husband, Pat, are from Ireland. (Limerick and Kerry respectively) . I have never seen a big ice cream stands with oodles of flavors there, like we have here in the US. However, at most convenient stores ( and ice cream trucks) they sell soft serve ice cream and for an extra fee they'll stick a snack sized candy bar into it. The bar is called a Flake. Like it's name suggests...it is a flakey bar of chocolatey goodness. Made by Cadbury. Cadbury's chocolate over there is much nicer than the Cadbury's here in the US. Creamy. Heaven. When my mom would go to Ireland for quick trips when I was a kid she'd always bring us back candy. Yummy Yummy candy from Ireland. mmmm....even now, if she goes she brings it back for all of us. Sweets, Barry's tea bags, and Chef Sauce. LOL! I know...weird stuff! Anyhoooooooooo, back to Riley's ice cream....Why is Riley holding a British Ice Cream? The illustrator of Riley and Sophie Moose stamps lives in the UK. She is probably unaware that we are not privvy to Flakes here in the USA. BooHooooooo.

Ok...now that I have made it clear that Ice Cream and Chocolate take up way too much of my interests...lets move on to card #3. This is from the soon to be released: Cyber Hanna set. I am just giving you a little looksie into this set...you'll have to wait to see the rest! Perfect set for all of you Computer Junkies....unlike me....YEAH RIGHT!!! I always say that if my house was on fire and all people and animals were safe, I would then save my computer! LOL! I mean, all my family pics are in here. Pictures of Maeve at the orphanage when she was only days old. My cards for like 4 years. all my bookmarked sites. All those email addresses....my friends live in the computer! LOL! Anyhow....I don't drink coffee....I prefer to guzzle a gallon of Crystal Light Raspberry flavored Ice Tea (with ice!) while surfing the net. A day without my computer and Ice Tea would be a very bad day. Seriously. Anyhooooo...notice the brown striped paper on Riley and this card are the same...I tried something foreign to me....using up almost the entire piece of paper and not throwing the leftovers away. Strange concept to me...but it worked out well, I think! LOL!

If you'd like to see more sneak peeks check out all the Hanna Stamps DT members blogs! They are some seriously talented ladies!!
Link list is over there on the right. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ok....It's 4:40 am....I am going to be a cranky mommy in a few hours when the kids wake up if I don't try and get a little sleep.

Have a Scrumptious Friday!!
