Happy Thursday! Thanks for coming by today! Are you going to participate in this week's 3 Clover Thursday Challenge? I sure hope so! You must have a cupcake stamp or some kind of fruit or a Thanksgiving turkey... a bunny with a carrot....a beverage...something!!! Have fun!

I thought I would make a food themed card with some cute fruit stamps that I have...But then I remembered about this cute MFT set called "Here's the Scoop". I have this Ice cream set and a sentiment set from MFT...that's it. Funny, I think their ideas for sets are great...and I like the style of their stamps...except that they are headless! LOL! I tried to get over it when I bought this set...but the only stamp I have used from the set is this sundae. I know that's how some people feel about my precious Tilda's: they just can't get past that they don't have any mouths. I don't know...that never bothered me. In fact I thought that it added to their charm. No mouth is one thing...but no head at all!? LOL! Just my random 2:30 AM musings.

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely birthday wishes!!! It was especially nice to read the comments from yesterday. You really know how to make a girl feel special!

Have a Scrumptious Day!

Another Monday...another TS Sketch Challenge!
This weeks sketch is easy peasy! So why not start participating? Then leave a comment on MJ's blog with a link to your sketch! While you are there click on the links to see what everyone else came up with this week!!

My neighbor, Alida, has a lovely garden. Lots of different colors and flowers. And it changes with the seasons. Over the years it has become fuller and fuller. When Orla was a toddler(top picture), Alida's flowers were hard to resist! Now Maeve (bottom picture) is the flower/dandelion thief of the neighborhood. :) Currently Alida has lots of late summer flowers and it looks gorgeous, this card was inspired by her garden.

Awhile back, a long while, I had seen a card where the person stamped the Sanded Background stamp with versamark over the main image and then clear embossed. I liked that look. I just ordered the Sanded stamp. (I know, just got it! Can you believe it?) So I wanted to try that out. So that is what the close up pic is trying to show.

Yep, you read it correctly, this set is my very first stamp set from My Favorite Things. I know, I am late to jump on the band wagon! But, I just have a hard time with the headless bodies. Don't misunderstand me....I have always liked what everyone was making with the MFT stamps...I just didn't think it was for me. I'm still not sure, as I haven't used the body yet...but I like the sundae! One of my local stamp stores, The Paper Tree, carries alot of brands that other local stores don't. Usually stuff that has to be ordered online. Bellas, MFT, Lizzie Anne...and sometimes seeing it in person is a cincher. The past few times I went to the store I kept going over to the MFT section and picking sets up...putting them back...over and over. Finally last Friday I bought 2 sets. The Here's The Scoop Set and a sentiment set...I can't wait to play a little more with them.

This card was made for a Mix 'n Match Challenge. We had to use at least 3 different DSP's, but they could not be from a pre-coordinated paper pack. IE: I could not use 3 sheets from the Bella Rosa Pack, nor 3 sheets from the Basic Grey Sugared Collection.
This is not something I am comfortable doing. I am always afraid the image will get "lost" among all the patterns. But I don't think this came out too bad. I used this weeks sketch from Mary Jo as inspiration, but changed it just slightly.
