Expecting to see a card? See that spot to left? That's where the card usually goes. Instead, for today, you get my sweet Declan. Why you ask? you probably shouldn't have asked because now you have to read the answer....
I didn't make a card for Sketch 36. But I took a look at them (I download them to my own computer and then print several of them out and pin it up in my stamp area) and decided that although it was 9pm (I don't function well creatively after 8pm) on Sunday I would give it a go since it looked like an easy enough sketch. So I went down there came up with a card...over an hour later it was complete. hmmmm....I just need to fix this coloring riiiight here....ok...let me go get my camera. I came back with my camera and realized I rubbed too much with my aquapainter and ruined my image with that last "touch up"! ACK! lets see if I can rip it off (I use the ATG gun, and Man, that stuff STICKS). wow, it actually came off with minimal damage. So I color a new image. Of course by now I care a little less about perfection....but not bad, I mean I stayed in the lines, um, most of them...this little bit just needs to be a little darker...ACK! too much water...now its all runny. Oh well, that's what Primas were invented for, right? so I stick a Prima on there, take the pic and start typing my blog post so that I can schedule it to post tomorrow...I never know how Maeve is going to be in the AM's. Oh yeah, I gotta sign up in the database too. (this is where we let MJ know that we were able to participate for that week) I go do that. Good thing I decided to do this sketch since there are no other names there. Back to finish my blog post. I need the link to MJ's blog...Oh look, she has her Sketch 36 up alrea-ummmm... why did she use next weeks sketch? MJ must be losing it...I mean look that is-oh-um, huh, I had them numbered wrong when I downloaded them.... I did next weeks sketch! #%&*@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good News! I definitely have a card ready for Sketch 37! I am so ahead of the game!
Between now and then check out Mary Jo's and Lisa's blogs for some great cards with this weeks sketch!
Have a Marvelous Monday!

Don't you just love being "organized" and ahead of the game!?
Nice pic of your son! I bet he is tickled to be on your blog today.
Tee Hee, at least you tried. That certainly counts in my book! Thanks Kerry.
that's funny! Good picture of Declan.
LOL it happens to the best of us!
Kerry , we all have days like that,
Mind you a cute photo of Declan makes up for everything.
Wendie
aww hes a cutie n u did give the card a go we all have them Ughhh days in crafting haha
Awwwww...sweet picture!
Too funny on the card making! You sound like me. I have found that the old CM multi purpose tool helps to get the stubborn ATG adhered image off without ripping too much.
Ha ha ha i shoudlnt laugh really but i do have days like this also if i dont laugh i cry!
It cheered me up though and at least thats something done for next week!
Hugs Leona x
Oh how I can relate! - Loved seeing the photo of Declan though.
That sounds very frustrating! I'm looking forward to seeing it next week though. It is a very cute picture of your son!
ha ha IO am glad I am not the only one to do that! Your son is really cute :)
Lovely photo of your son, and thank you for visiting my blog and your comments.
Actually it is wonderful to see Declan so happy and eager to see what's next. He has to be a perfect joy and delight! Also, I have done what you do many time. I have found that you can sceap a little where the damage is and then file it away. Thats right, use an emery board. I have a rough and smooth one at my work space. also if the CS needs smoothing I use a large embossing stylus to smooth it back out. Hate do overs!!!
too funny! glad to know this happens to others too.
loved the pic of Declan though Ü
Glad to know I'm not the only one that can happen to! LOL....you are definitely not alone. Love the photo of your son, though....that made it worth visiting! Oh, BTW....you have a list of MJ's challenges AHEAD of time?!! You've got to share!!
Sorry to hear you had that bad day... I think all of us had a rainy card making day...
But it is not too bad... I think that Declan was very happy to be posted on your blog! Nice picture!!!
