Hello friends! Did you all have an enjoyable weekend? Mine was busy...busy...busy...so I am posting my last card from my reserves. Oh My! I try to keep a few cards ahead so that if I need a break, I still have things to post on the blog here and there. But I better get down to my stamp room tonight, because this is all I've got!

When I made this card I thought I had finished it, but when I looked at the card, I felt like that purple square in the top left needed something. After a bit of trial and error I decided to make a "butterfly trail" using these little rhinestone-like stickers from Stampendous. They have little gold rims on them and that is all that the picture has picked up....but the centers are actually bling. The thing with these little sticker thingys is that they are time consuming...I needed to use my QuickStik tool, which I LOVE. It is so handy dandy! It has two parts...this little gooey stuff that is good for sticking to things and picking up and then the other end that you are able to remove from the unit...this removable part has a tiny little "spatuala" for peeling things like these teensy little stickers off and a pointy side. I use this QuickStik all the time for tiny little embellishments and sticky pieces of papers...etc... Then after placing all those sticker thingys down....they kept coming off! here and there a few were missing so I would replace those and then another one someplace was gone....then by the time I finished taking the pictures...another one or two were missing! ACK! it was driving me nuts! I mailed it off and hoped that they were still there when it arrived. I won't be using those again on the outside of my card. However they do make nice flat embellishments on the INSIDE of the cards. I don't like to use bulky embellies on the insides of the cards, I don't like the way it "dents" the inside of the cards when closed and mailed.
I used theis sweet Tilda as a Butterfly image...which is on sale at Magnolia-licious for only $8!
While you are there check out the Halloween and Christmas Stamps! Diana has ordered last years collections now so that we will have time to order and start planning for this year's holidays!!!! Unfortunately, the Magnolia company doesn't always release the collections in time for people to get them and stamp with them in time for the occasions...And even if they do, Magnolia Sweden isn't always that quick in sending them out to the US vendors. Sometimes it is so frustrating!!! Both for us and Diana who wants to offer her customers the best service. Below is a list of the holiday stamps that she just got in:

This is a gorgeous card! I am always inspired by your cards, but for some reason, this one really jumped out at me. I love the colours of the paper, the trail of gems (even if they were falling off), and the great job you did colouring the image.

Well, for giving you such trouble, the card is gorgeous, Kerry! Love that butterfly Tilda and your coloring is awesome. Ok, now put that Soap Opera Digest book down, put away the BonBons, and start stamping those cards, girlie! LOL!
hugs!

Awww! Kerry she is fabulous. The paper is such a beautiful accent to her and your coloring is terrific. I know those little Glitzy pearl thingies are a pain to work with, but on this card is was certainly worth the effort! Beautiful card...

Hello Kerry, I enjoyed today's post, and loved the card as always. I have to agree about the QuickStik tool as one of my favs. I was surprised though at the troubles you had with the Stampendous Class A'peels dot sparklers. I have picked these up at Archiver's, and love them because of their bling, flatness, color choices, and stickiness. I occassionally have them flip off onto other items on my workspace, and several are still stuck there from when I worked on Christmas cards last Fall. Am I noticing a little bit of shine from the purple square you used them on? Maybe a glossy paper, or something sprayed on there? Anyway, love the effect, and the trail was the perfect choice. Dear Kerry,
Thank you for sending me this most Gorgeous card!!! I appreciate every 'Class A Peel' you put on it. Two had shifted in the mail only and I put them back where they belonged! I absolutely adore pastel colours so you couldn't have made a card I would have liked better. Your colouring is perfect, as well as the attention to all the details you added to it. Love the 3 colours of ribbon you added and the pearls and EVERYTHING. I haven't seen or heard of your little handy applicator for these stickers - but wish I had one LOL LOL.
Thank you - from the bottom of my heart!
Hugs, Candy
