Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Spring!! Yahooooo! It's officially spring! And to welcome spring the Bloggers Challenge group has a Spring Theme today!

I had a hard time choosing stamps and paper for this one. I was torn between so many. My "go to" stamps admittedly, are my Tilda's. And having all those new ones didn't make it easy...but this Enchanted Lily stamp set just screams spring to me. :) And cards made with these adorable PCS sets seem to come together so easily. I love this fairy tale line of paper from Imaginisce too. This pinks, blues and greens and all those flowers and glitter also shout out to spring. You can see the other Fresh and Springy creations by the rest of the BC girls by clicking here and blog hopping.

I know that I have said this before and I know that I am not the only one who this happens to: Noticing something not quite right after completing a card and editing the picture. While posting this and looking at the pic of the card something with the flowers doesn't look "right" to me. I can't place my finger on it. I try to keep "random" embellishments like this in odd numbers. Somewhere that is what I learned. But I feel like that rule didn't really work out this time. Or maybe I just need to move one of the flowers from the top of the circle down. I will have to "fix" that before sending it. What do you think?

Any exciting plans for the weekend? Not for us. It always seems like some weekends we have too many things and others we have nothing going on. Hopefully it will be warm enough for the kids to play outside.
What ever you are doing or not doing I hope that you have a lovely weekend!
Don't forget that if you are making a card or two this weekend, try pulling out some of that "old" paper! (see this week's 3CT Challenge)

Have a Resplendent Friday too!

First of all, I love your card!! If it were that easy to get spring here, I'd go to the park now and start swinging! LOL!!

What if you took the two flowers that she is swinging in to and put them between the others so they are all on one side? Would that look better for you? (of course this advice comes from a prima CHALLENGED person! LOL!!)

Your designs are always awesome! I love how you also decorate the inside of the card. That is something I do not currently do (other than just stamping a sentiment). I'm going to start doing this! Thanks for the inspiration!

Gorgeous, and I love the sentiment inside!!

This card is Gorgeous...and the image is so Cute!!...Love your papers and accents....I think it looks perfect...but I know what you mean...I have feel the same way sometimes...and I find if I just punch out a few leaves...and set them here or there where I think it needs to broaden a bit...I can balance it out to my satisfaction....(sometimes an extra flower is too much..one less too little...lol)...Hugs, Ila

Thi sis adorable. I really want this set but so far no go LOL!

The card is beautiful and it smells summer :-)
But I think I agree with you, it feels a bit "heavy" at the top so move/add some flowers and putting them further down would probably make a better balance in the card.

Just Gorgeous! Gx

I don't have a problem with your flower placement either, Kerry. Every time I see it lately, I think that is beautiful lace. Then it dawns on me, no silly, its paper that has been punched with a border punch. Very pretty, and a great job today. Linda S. in NE
