Hey! How was your weekend? We had a good weekend here. Warmed up a little. FYI warmed up = 40's. But it did melt some ice around here. Our driveway and common drive had about 2 inches of frozen-solid ice covering them. At least some of that is melted. I wasn't aware that my whole town had been transported to Antarctica....so it's nice to be back in Massachusetts! LOL!

Last night I managed to make a card for MJ's sketch. I looked at it for a long time wondering: Where does she come up with these? hahahaha!! Finally, I decided to start a card and see where it went. You can see the original sketch, Mary Jo's adorable card, and links to other's cards on her blog.

While I was adding a touch of pink ink around the cardstock that Billy and Lily are stamped on, I made a boo boo. I somehow got ink on Billy's face. :( So I stamped and colored just the heads again, cut them out and pop dotted them up. I truly have an "embellishment opportunity" with almost every card!! I mess up something that needs to be covered or rearranged or something. So I do try and keep in mind that these are "opportunities" to do something I wasn't planning on. It's just that I offer myself SO MANY "opportunities"! LOL! How about you? What do you do when you mess up? "fix it"? throw it out? re-do everything?

Blog Candy Alert: My BFF, Kristen is giving away some scrumptious blog candy!! Check it out HERE.

Have a Relishable Monday!

Yep, I create lots of opportunities for embellishments too! I just go with the flow. Your card is adorable and to be honest the popped up heads are perfect and adds a lot to the entire card. Love it. Good to have ya playing. I too wondered where I got this sketch for a few minutes, I even tried to find where to be re-inspired and then just did what you did, start and see what happens, lol. Great minds think alike, lol!

LOL! The first thing I noticed was the cut out and raised heads, and I thought, "What a great idea!" Good thing for those embellishment opportunities :) Cute card!

Yup, I mess up all the time and try to fix it if I can. Love this card and love your "fix" for poor Billy's messy face!

So very cute! - The popped up heads are perfect. Occasionally I have those "boo boo" moments myself. Like my last card where I got an ink spot that I tried to scratch off. I ended up adding a Dew Drop over it which covered up the boo boo. Thank goodness for embellishments!

Great card Kerry, I thought you planned the pop dotted heads and said she is so creative! I still think that even knowing the whole story!

What a wonderful card! Don't you love serendipity! Those little popped up faces are great! I love it when it works out, hate it when it doesn't, but it always presents a new learning opportunity! ~chris
