Lunch time Sketch Challenge #4

Stamps: Best of Cluck
CS: Night Of Navy, More Mustard, Bravo Burgundy, Close to Cocoa, Confetti Vanilla
Ink: Staz On Timber brown, Chocolate Chip
Other: Prismas, Gamsol, Chocolate Chip grosgrain

In trying to cure my phobia of new colors, I broke out the color wheel. (insert dramatic music here) Every time I look at the color wheel I am weirded out by the combinations they come up with. For example, let's spin the wheel to Orchid Opulence....Complementary color is....YoYo Yellow?! Coordinating colors Handsome Hunter, Rose Red, and Brilliant Blue? Whaaaaaaat?! I seriously don't mean to offend anyone, but I just can't imagine even what stamp I would use to put these colors together. If you think these colors would look great together, by all means, prove me wrong. seriously. Post a link in the comments of this post if you come up with something.

Anyhooooooo, a few nights ago, I sat down to work on this sketch and decided to give the wheel a spin. I spun and spun. I thought to myself: hmmm, you what colors would be great together? Regal Rose, Celery, and Apricot! hahahaha. Finally, I spun it to Night of Navy...I never, never use Navy. anywhere in my life. I don't even wear navy. The coordinating colors for NON are:More Mustard, Garden Green, Bravo Burgundy. With a complementing color of Really Rust. Ok, I am all of Really Rust cardstock, so that eliminates that...but I think I can work with the others. I remember those colors were a big hit in the early 90's. Now, what stamps do I have that will work....I obviously settled on Best of Cluck, I have only made one other card with this set. Eventually I decided to forget the Garden Green, as it wasn't working for me. But decided to throw in some Close to Cocoa. Heck I even went wild and did a little doodling! I know! I had one wild and crazy weekend! LOL!

Go on over to Mary Jo's blog and check her card and the others that participated in this sketch challenge. They are sure to be GREAT!
