Whimsical Sewing?
So remember I bought myself a Janome mini sewing machine for Christmas? But I can't sew a straight line for a million bucks?! Well, I decided to go for the MOP (messy on purpose) look. But I am going to call it "whimsical". heeheeheeeheeeeheee I think it works for this card. :) The flower and the leaves were made from a Cuttlebug die. I am not sure I would have bought this set of dies myself....but when I started using them last night, I saw a lot of potential. My 2 close friends bought me the CB and the dies for Xmas. Don't I have great friends?!
Back to the card...This is another one of my favorite color combos: Rose Red, So Saffron, Always Artichoke. I stamped the paisley from Polka Dots and Paisleys set with SS on SS. I just drew the stem with AA marker. And the little RR things in the corners are from the CB die. I also used Purely Pomegranate ribbon, SS brads, CB embossing folder, and a clear rhinestone in the center of the flower.
This isn't what I imagined when I started out making this card. And I did rip it apart a few time (that ATG adhesive is strong stuff!)...but I am happy enough with it. Does it portray "whimsical" to you? lol

I love this! Love the cut flower, the colors ... what a terrific card!
whimsical is it! Gorgeous, I love it and I have a small sewing machine (not Janome) that I should break out.
I love this card! It made me smile - which is not an easy task today!
I love that Cuttlebug diecut - might have to look into getting a few more for myself!
This is stunning! Makes me want to get a mini sewer too! SUPER JOB!!
