Asian Stamps

I thought I would throw this out there for those that are Asian or have adopted from Asian countries. Awhile back I was looking for Asian stamps that fit my style for thanks you cards. (we adopted our little Maeve this year from Vietnam) I guess I lean towards "cutesy" in the stamp department. And there are not many "cutesy" Asian style stamps. But I did find a site called Mari And Me, based out of Hawaii. They have a great selection of Asian stamps. They have Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Japanese styles....among many others! Even Hmong! Because Maeve is a baby, I opted not to go with the Vietnamese Girl stamps they had, because it was an older girl. But I took one of the little Chinese girls and colored her so it looked like she was wearing an Ao Dai. (I hope!) ;)

I kept the card simple, as I was making many of them and my free time was limited when we came back from Vietnam. The patterned paper is Origami paper and the colors are Certainly Celery and Eggplant Envy. By the way, I don't know why, but the ticket punch would not go through the origami paper. It was almost too "fiber-ish".

Such a cute little stamp & perfect for your precious little Maeve. Love the background paper, it's soft and very pretty.
