Hello! Happy Hump Day! I hope that you are having a a lovely week. From what I understand the rest of the USA is having lots of high temps. However, here in New England we have been swallowed up by Monsoon and the temps have been only in the low-mid 60's. Although it is only in the 60's there is still that sticky muggy feel in the air that makes you feel yucky. The good news is....um there is none. You can read about our lack of sun here. blah. Does anyone else have a German Shepherd? My boy, Guinness is currently profusely shedding his winter coat. That mixed with the rain is leaving a lovely carpet of wet smelly dog hair. My house is disgusting at the moment! ICK! (btw-the pic of hom was taken in December...when he was only 6 months old! He's still growing!)

Anyhoooo....sorry I have updated my blog in 4 days. I actually made these cards over the weekend...just haven't posted them. They both use TechnoStampers sketch for this week. I just rotated it 90 degrees for the card below. I also just noticed that if you play along with this week's challenge, Mary Jo is offering blog candy! So be sure to check it out!

Have you checked out the Hanna Stamps Breast Cancer Awareness stamp set yet? It's a great set!!

In keeping with my girly-pink theme is the Soccer Riley card. After all, anything boys can do Girls can do better! I added a little bow to Riley's Antler with embroidery floss. More deets below.

So sorry about the rain (we've had our fair share but it's starting to heat up now). Wow that is one BIG dog!

Love these two cards and that "support" card is one of the prettiest I have seen. My SIL is a survivor so this comes close to home. I love the pink that you used and this is a very nice simply elegant card for the cause.Hope the weather gets better for you. Cami

Hi Kerry:
Love your blog, receive email about your updates, but not sure I have ever commented. I love both the cards, but love most of your cards. I love your dog! My parents always had shepherds when I was growing up. I especially love your daughter. Way too cute how she is snuggled up against that big dog.

I have two Ragdoll cats, just over a year old. This April they started shedding & we had fur tumbleweeds in our house, which drove me crazy. Took them to "The Barker Shop," a pet groomer, & I think they lost a 1 lb each of fur. A suggestion that you might want to try. Take your shepherd to the groomer & have them wash & blow dry it. They have better equipment than we do at home, & that way our pets don't get mad at us for the fuss.

We went 6 weeks here in Southern Ohio, with rain & I hated it. We had rain today for the first time in about a week. I hope you too get the pretty weather soon. I live for summer.

Keep up your great card making! I'll check back often.

Toota-loo,
Karen
