Is it too early for Independence Day cards? Maybe a little....but this is the paper that made its way to my work area...sooooooo here it is. Looking at this Tilda, my first thought was to put a sparkler in her hand. But I didn't know how to achieve that and not have it look "cheezy". I figure I have plenty of time to work on that. ;) hahaha! Then I thought I would use those little flags that are
made with a little toothpick for a pole. Like this one. But I couldn't find the ones that I had around here. :(So I was going to put her aside until I found my own stash or I found some in the store. Then I thought a pinwheel would be cute. This pinwheel was made out of two 1 inch squares of patterned paper adhered together so that the pattern was on both sides. Pinwheels are SUPER easy to make. Check back tomorrow for some pics and instructions how. I will also show you how I made the clouds behind Tilda.
Chasing Tilda is part of the Chasing Butterflies collection available at Magnolia-licious. At first I didn't know how I felt about this Tilda...she came as part of the Spring Kit...but know I love her and see lots of possibilities with her. In fact my friend, Mary, is going to put this Tilda with a wagon stamp she had...so it will look like Tilda is pulling the wagon. I am looking forward to seeing that, Mary! I think it will c
ome out so cute! (I did take a pic of the copics used...but cannot locate that pic. sorry!)We are in for a rainy week here. ick. And I am feeling a little overwhelmed of things I have to do this week. So I must admit that my mind is elsewhere and I don't have much chit chat for you today. hahaha...Maybe you are relieved!
