Happy Monday! Thanks so much for stopping by today! How was your weekend? I hope that it was delightful!
I want to thank everyone for all the SWEET comments about my paint can! You really are so kind. It feels so great when our peers like our work. As one of you, (you know who you are!), emailed me this weekend, we all appreciate some validation. Especially since I think most of us doubt our own abilities and it's nice to hear that maybe we are doing OK. :)
I didn't stamp at all this weekend! GASP! But I did make this card almost a month ago and have not had a chance to post it. This is an unusual card for me in several ways.
1) the main color is blue. I hardly ever use blue as a focus color...but this paper from Basic Grey's Two Scoops pack is so pretty!
2) The card base is white. Also something that I don't usually do. Actually, the only white card stock that I use is usually only for the images. Here I used it for the image, the doiley borders and the base.
3) Almost always I cut Tilda out and "pop dot" her onto the card somewhere. She is just stamped and colored on that white square.
This was one of my first Tilda's. I love her...so versatile! Um, seriously, don't I say that about all of them!? LOL!
Of course you can get yours at Magnolia-licious. Diana offers free shipping in Canada and the U.S. no matter how big or little your order is. Don't forget about those extra goodies she includes with every order! You don't live in Canada or the U.S.? You still get the extra goodies! And Diana ships out quickly. AND if you are a member of the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group you will receive a special promotion code every month! (40% off one stamp or stamp set this month!) Not to mention all the wonderful people you'll meet. I have met some really inspiring and kind people on this group...and they love Tilda and Edwin as much as I do! They inspire me to try things with my cardmaking that I wasn't doing 6 months ago. Like decorating the insides. Which I have to say adds a whole new level to the cards. Makes them seem extra special! So I hope that you'll join us over there!
I am LOVIN' the SCRUMPTIOUS cards that you are making and sharing for this weeks 3CTC!!! Super FUN! I can't wait to see more! (hint-hint!)
Have a Superb Monday!
