How is your Tuesday going so far?
I usually write my blog posts the evening before and schedule it to post early in the AM. Or sometimes I am still awake at 3am and post it right away. Last night (er...this morning) I decided to just go to bed after I finished my card and I would post in the morning after the kids went to school. Here's the problem: something always go wrong in the morning! LOL! And Maeve usually wants to be the center of my attention in the morning, because no one else is here. She is also 2. This means she is at that age where she is getting into things. Climbing on the counters. Helping herself to yogurt in the fridge (which she thinks is yummy as well as a body paint!) Right now she has 12 return address labels stuck to her legs! The phone is ringing...etc..etc...So it takes me hours just get these things written. :P And early this AM we had the carbon monoxide alarms going off again. Again we had the fire department here. And again there were high levels near the furnace. :( So AGAIN we had the oil/furnace/whoever they are come out to inspect the furnace. This time they can't find anything wrong. I don't know...but I told the firemen that if this happens again I will have to have coffee and pasteries here for them. hahahaha At least this time my house was reasonably clean!! LOL! You can read about the last time here if you please. aaaah...the excitement never ends here in Kerryland. :)

I was happy to have *FINALLY* received my High Hopes stamps on Friday! Yippeeeee! There is images are SO cute! Because of that is why I guess I got over how SLOW their order processesing time is. (yes, I know they make their own stamps and all that....) I just realized that I regard High Hopes in a similar way to Maeve: They are SO CUTE and SWEET that they get away with things way too easily! LOL! But here is a warning: If you have not ordered your Easter/Spring Stamps from High Hopes yet, then don't bother...unless you want them for next Easter. It took 5 weeks for my order to come. And this is apparently "the norm" for them. Maybe they are just experiencing growing pains...but last year my friend ordered from them and it was a long wait too. But again, you can hardly find bunnies this cute anywhere else!

The sky and grass were colored with Prisma pencils and gamsol. Not Copics. I am still "challenged" in doing the backgrounds with my copics. :) This card is also for the High Hopes challenge this week: Buttons. You know what else I just realized: this paper on this card has been in my stash for over a year!! ;)

Have a Delectable Tuesday!

this is stunning. those colors are soooo springy and perfect. I just love it. And you always make me laugh. Maeve must think of the labels as bandaids - ya think?

Sorry about the incident again. Don't let them get away with "nothing is wrong here". Something IS wrong. Hang in there, we're praying for you!

lol-- Okay first, you LIVE my life. Gabby will be 2 in the fall and she gets in to EVERYTHING!! (The yogurt body paint cracked me up!) Add my almost 4 and 6 year olds to the mix and it's pure chaosis in the mornings!! I'm feelin' for you!! :) I LOVE your bunny card--- fantabulous coloring-- I still don't have any HH stamps--- I heard their shipping was super slow too-- I'm not patient-- I'm still irritated my spellbinders order isn't here from early February!! I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and order some of them though--- you're enabling!! ;)

Adorable card with perfect coloring technique! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with copic background frustrations!

So scary about the CO; thank God for CO detectors! I'm sure you will be relieved when they don't have a reason to be alarming, though.

I have been using lots of buttons lately, weird how we jump around with stuff. and that Easter basket off the corner is perfect, great idea.
