Happy Tuesday! As promised there will be no more winter cards for awhile. I wish Mother Nature would make a similar pact...we got 6 more inches of snow yesterday and are expecting some more tonight. The thing that makes it really tough to accept is that over the weekend it was "springy" and in the 60's! March is one of the roughest months to deal with in New England...mentally we are done with winter...and in our minds we should be seeing signs of spring...then Mother Nature toys with us by giving us nice days-followed by more snow. Why must she play mind games with us like that?!
Ok...that is my weather complaint for today! :) Thanks for staying tuned!
On Friday I went to Kristen's house to spend some stamping time with her and my other good friend, Pia. When I got there she had these cute images that someone had sent her. I was quick to swipe one. :) The image is a Sugar Nellie stamp. Sugar Nellie has lots of CUTE CUTE CUTE images. Several different stamp lines. Shoot! I think I am in trouble! I have tried to resist! I am weak! LOL! This little girl reminded me of my Maeve. So I gave a shot at coloring her hair black without using black. Maeve has beautiful, straight, shiny, black hair. Not dark brown...BLACK. In "real life"the hair on the card does have a bit of shading to it so that her hair doesn't look like a motorcycle helmet. I have still not mastered black hair on my Magnolia stamps...YET. :(
As I mentioned, I was at Kristen's house when I colored this so there is no document of the Copics I used. Sorry.
Just a reminder that you can enter to win my some blog candy that I am offering here.
And there is still time to play in this week's 3 Clover challenge.
Have a Brilliant Tuesday!
