How was your weekend? Does everyone have a day off today for Presidents Day? How was your Valentine's Day? My DH is extremely romantic so you can imagine how....Yeah right!!! My DH doesn't have an ounce of romance in his body! He is a wonderful guy...but romance (or gifts) is not his strong suit. In fact I didn't even see him on the 14th. At the end of January we passed papers on a second home, located on Cape Cod. We have been down there the past 3 weekends since... cleaning it, furnishing it, decorating and other little things to get it ready to list as weekly summer rental. This weekend Pat and Orla went down and I stayed home with Declan and Maeve. Pat had shelves to put in closets and wiring and stuff. My work there is done for now. Its a 2.5 hour drive. (Maeve hates to be in her carseat for that long and cries.) And since Thanksgiving, when we went to the Cape for the holiday weekend and this idea started, we have done many day trips down there. Anyhoooooooooooo, if anyone is interested in renting a house in Hyannis on Cape Cod this summer let me know! :)

Remember those tangents I was talking about?! hahahahaha

Today's card is for TechnoStamper's Sketch Challenge. It's a nice sketch this week. And will give you a chance to use some of that DP you've got around. So be sure to head over there and check it out. I used this sketch to make a challenge card for an "SU! only" group that I belong to. Wow! It has been so long since I made a card using only SU! supplies that I truly did find this a challenge! The biggest thing is that I really don't have that many "current" supplies. I had to get the current catalog to see if what I had was current or not. SU! only also meant that my dear Copics had to stay away. I watercolored this with SU! reinkers (colors noted above) and Aquapainters. That was my favorite way to color before I relented to the Copic craze. I am a little rusty and I seriously need some new aquapainters. My bristles are all spread open and beat. You'll be seeing another SU! only card in the near future as I signed up for another challenge on that group. :)

Have a Magnificent Monday!

I love it! Believe me I so know what you are saying about how difficult it is to use 100% current SU. I too am looking in the book constantly on the Your Hired series. Anyway, this card is just adorable (even without Copics) Love the colors. Thanks for playing.

Simple divine Miss Kerry...Love the bright cheerful colors. Way to go on the SU Only card (it's hard isn't it when you get use to using contraband).
