Good Tuesday Morning!! We are expecting a snowstorm to come in tomorrow morning...oh yay...there will likely be no school again tomorrow...oh yay.

There is so much about this card that did not photograph well. Lets start off with the fact that all the cardstock is eggplant...not black. :( I just couldn't lighten it up in the photo editing phase either. Also the Designer paper has an all over shimmer to it. And the little rhinestones on the snowflake are a lavender. The white ribbon has silver snowflakes on it. This card is just not photogenic!

I ordered some Spiral Whisper stamps back in October and I am just now getting around to inking them up. I figured I better ink up the winter ones before I started making spring cards! LOL!

Last week I had a big give away...lots of visits here! But some of you have actually stuck around and commented on my cards AFTER it was all over! How kind!! So for you people I am offering you a chance at another prize! It's fun to give stuff away! :) Leave a comment under this post letting me know what type of challenges you like to participate in (sketch, color, inspiration...etc...) to be entered to win a Martha Stewart Valentine Border Punch! But keep this on the down low....only faithful readers can get in on this one!!!!

Have a Toasty Tuesday!!

This is so cute! Your coloring is fabulous!!

I am a follower of your blog. I like a good variety of challenges but probably my favorite is limited supply challenges where you can only use a certain number of things or only certain items.......it makes you really think and be creative.

Have a great day!

I added you to my reader for your last blog candy, but I keep coming back for your fabulous designs!

I like all kinds of challenges, colour, sketch, inspiration, technique... I love the challenges get me stamping, and make me think about things in a different way. I think challenges help us all to grow as better stampers.

Don't you hate when your stuff just does not pick up the way you want it too in a pic? UGHHH I like color challenges and sketches. So much fun!

This card is completely adorable girl! I am a sketch challenge girl so you could come up with those for us. But, if you really want to challenge me it is a color challenge. I stink at those. It goes against the way I like to stamp and therefore is a real challenge. Not one that I'll take often but, hey...it doesn't hurt to try! :o)

Love looking at all your wonderful creations. I truly admire your creativity.

I would love to participate in any type of challenge that actually gets me scrapping or card making, however I'd love to see a challenge on sketching because I really want to practice my sketching & doodling. Thanks!

I love all of the challenges. They make me try new ways of using what I have. I love your work. You have a gift for putting everything together in a way that has awsome finished look. Love todays card. My kids are also out of school for snow. I enjoy watching your blog for the great card ideals and your kids, they are adorable. Thanks! Blessings, Staci J

Very cute!! Love how you used the swirls. I just never know what to do with them. Thanks for the idea.

I love color and sketch challenges. Or product challenges to make me use my stash!

I follow you throuhg reader! I like to do the color & sketch challenges mostly.

Beth said...

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh about the kids being off from school-I feel your pain, lol! The snow/ice will be here later today so I fully expect the kiddos to be home tomorrow. Sigh...
You may not be happy with the picture, but the card is wonderful! Such a darling image and your coloring is amazing (just joined my 1st copic club, woohoo!). You've got such a great eye for embellishments, too!
Oh, wait, I almost forgot to answer your question, duh. Challenges-I usually like to do either sketch or color. It's usually just enough to get my thoughts going without being frustrating or taking up too much time coming up with something.
Stay safe (& warm) w/the storm coming!

I am a faithful reader/follower. Love getting your updates and visiting your blog for inspiration. I like the sketch challenges, but would love to be able to use any images rather than always a specific image company (I don't always own those stamps and budget is tight right now).

Hi, Gorgeous card ~ I love how you have coloured the cute image. I added your blog to my following list after finding your blog when your candy was on offer but still come back to visit. I like sketch challenges. x

I LOVE this card and especially the stamp. Can you tell me where you found the Spiral Whisper stamps? I have never heard of them.

I love layout challenges for both cards and scrapbook pages. The layout has always been the hardest part for me, so the challenges are good kick starts.

Personally? Don't matter that you cannot see the shimmer, the eggplant color or the lavendar rhinestones.... this is still GORGEOUS!!!!

Are we sick of snow yet?

I'm a new follower but I sure like what I see here. What talent! And I just love both sketch & color challenges. I find it easy to combine both into one and I don't have to think so hard! HEY! I'm a senior citizen! I've done my thinking!

OMG - I have run around to every Mike's and Walmart in my area at least three times a week trying to get my hands on this punch! I've even resorted to eBay where you really don't want to know what folks are asking for it! My favorite challenges are sketch challenges, but almost anything that sticks a fork in my creativity and gets it moving is good in my book! ~chris

I'm one of your stalkers er I mean followers. I don't post comments very often. I am new to paper crafting so I prefer the sketch challenges as I find that by following a sketch, my cards turn out better than trying to figure out a sketch of some kind in my head.
I love this punch and was looking for it the last time I was at Michaels but they did not have it in.

Awe, how nice of you Kerry! THANKS! I enjoy a sketch challenge, that helps give me a starting point...which I really need! Love this punch, and we can't seem to find it anywhere here in Maryland. Ha...my girlfriend would be so jealous!

Hi Kerry, I too became your follower after your last blog candy. But I'll tell you what.....if I didn't like the work I saw on your blog, I would have passed it by and not even entered, let alone suscribed. As far as challenges go, I am fairly new to papercrafts and have never done a challenge. I don't quite understand how it works, and Heaven Forbid I might have to up/down load a pix of my work!! lol That would be waaayy beyond my computer skills. Thanks for the entry. I too have been keeping my eyes peeled for this MS punch. Linda lsfouratwindstreamdotnet
