Brrrrrrr....I hope that you are keeping warm! It's a chilly 10 degrees here right now. And now they are talking about a Nor'easter for Friday. Let the shoveling begin!

But I am trying to think warm thoughts...like baking. mmmmm...mmmmmmm! Have I ever mentioned how much I love baked goodies like brownies and cookies?? mmmmmmm....
Oh yeah, stamping...you want to read about stamping...How perfect is this cute set from SUink for someone like me?! I have several Christmas and non-Christmas ideas with this set, but I definitely wanted to use the gingerbread house...it's scrumptious! Now that I am looking at this card on my computer though, I wish I had layered the GB house on the Forest Foliage CS...to make it pop. Next time! I did add a little teensie bit of liquid pearl to the "snowy frosting" parts of the house. Just to give it a little something. I was trying to keep a homespun look going on here, so I didn't want to add too much. I paper-pieced this little gal's dress. All three DP's that I used on this card come from an CTMH pack. These were the papers that my friend didn't want. I probably wouldn't have picked these out myself, but the small, subtle patterns worked really well with this card and I was glad to have them.

The second picture to the right is the inside of the card.

Guess who showed up at my door today? The Fed Ex man. Delivering a nice box of more lovely Copics. wheeeeeee! If my husband finds out how much money I have spent on MARKERS he will likely kick my fanny out! LOL! Anyone looking for a roomate? ummm, I come with 3 kids and 2 dogs, though. Hubby will keep the goats. ;) But I will share my markers with you! hahahaha

Have a Delectable Tuesday!

OOOO, Kerry! Just found your blog and have added you to my favs! Great cards, as usual! Are you really loving your Copics? Tell me how they compare to SU's! I am in desperate need of new coloring implements and I am debating on whether to go to Copics, or Primascolor and Gamsol. I love the watercolor pencils, but just need more colors, so... Hugs~ Jan

Love the card. I have some of that CTMH paper and I've never been able to figure out how to use it!

What a cute card Kerry! I wonder how many copics you have now? The little girl on the front reminds me of Orla! SUink must love having you as their guest designer, another wonderful card using their sets.

so funny about the markers - the things we choose to hide from our partners LOL! Mine won't kick me out but he will say how much will that help you earn? Meaning am I going to ever start earning what I spend LOL! Course we all know that is NOPE for the answer but it sure is fun trying along the way! he he , I love the card too! Great homey feel!
