I hope that you had a great weekend!

By the time I finished making this card I was covered in glitter. In my hair, on my face, on my clothes, stuck to my fingers...who knows where else I will find it! It started off innocently enough with dipping the edges of the main image in some Dazzling Diamonds. Then I needed to make those 3 little flakes at the bottom "pop" because I they were getting lost in the large pattern of the DP. So by the time I got to the big snowflakes...well I how could I NOT glitter them!? LOL! Then, I felt like glitter was everywhere but on the main image...so I smeared some Star Dust stickles around on the snow under the snowmen and on the flakking snowflakes around them. When I went up to the bathroom I had to laugh at myself in the mirror. I had a big smudge of blue glitter above my left eye....some in my eyebrows...on my shirt of course...another chunk in my hair by my right ear...I looked like I had been in a tustle with Tinkerbell or something! How does a 30-something year old woman end up with so much glitter on herself!?

I don't know...maybe it's because I was watching the Hallmark movie while making this...does tearing up make you sticky? Those dang Hallmark movies! *sniff*sniff*

Check out Mary Jo's blog for the original sketch, her fun card, and links to others who have participated in this week's sketch challenge.

By the way winter has really hit us here....a little snow yesterday and today it's suppose to be a balmy 25 degrees for a high. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I hope that you have a Toasty Monday!

Oh so cute! I love glitter....there is an ongoing joke in our house to not go in "Mommy's area" or you'll sparkle.
