TGIF! Has this week seemed looooong to you? It has to me! And actually, my DH works on Saturdays too...so I guess I really only think TGI-Sunday! ;)

Aaaah well. Friday does mean it's Blogger's Challenge Day! Our BC mom, Lisa, is really good at coming up with these challenges. They almost always make me have to think. This week our challenge was to either make 2 cards using 1 layout, but different stamps. OR make 2 using the same stamps but different layouts.

I chose to use one layout with 2 different stamps. The turkey card measures 5x7. The snowman card measures 4.25x5.5. I wish I had made them both 5x7. It seemed to work out better.

The snowflake on the snowman card is from the snowflakes set of sizzlets that SU! sells. I ran it through my Cuttlebug and then through my Xyron (don't even ask me the last time I took my Xyron out!) and I dumped some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on it. IRL it looks very shimmery...but of course it isn't scanning well. :( There is also Star Dust Stickles on the snowman and on some of the falling flakes. But it is so frustrating that it all just looks kind of dirty here. :(

Have a Remarkable Weekend!

Details for snowman card:
Stamps: Snowman by Penny Black; Sentiment and snowflakes stamp by Amuse;
Paper: Bashful Blue; Pink Pirouette; White; DP by CTMH
Ink: Memento Black; Bashful Blue
Other: Sizzlet snowflake die; Dazzling Diamonds Glitter; Stardust Stickles; Dew drops (I colored the flat side of the dew drops with a colored Sharpie to make them more vibrant); Ivory Flower Soft
Card Measures 4.25x5.5

I really like the turkey card :) It is very appealing to me with the gorgeous Autumn colors! The snowman card is cute too and I agree he would of been more roomy on a 5x7 but it worked out nicely here!
