My original plan for last weekend was to get a good chunk of Christmas cards. My usual MO is to say "I am going to make all my Christmas cards this year", then scramble to Snapfish sometime in December and pick out a 1/2 decent pic of the kiddos (although one kid or another is usually scowling or has boogers hanging from their nose!) and pay rush shipping. But not this year! This year year I really am going to make all my Christmas cards. uuummmm, or at least get a real good pic of the kids and order my Snapfish cards early! LOL! But I will at least try to make a few cards for the people who I know (or hope) will notice and appreciate the handmade effort. It does kill me to think that some people won't even take notice. I don't expect everyone to be in awe and treasure my cards for years to come like my mom does...but some people don't even notice! One year I made some quilted wall hangings, like the one pictured (pic taken from the web...not mine), I gave one to my Aunt. She never said anything. The following year after Christmas she mentioned to my mom that she noticed my tag on the back and hadn't even realized that I made it. Jeesh! I was a pretty new quilter and was (still am) very proud of that...and she didn't even notice!
Anyhoooooooo, I did make a few Christmas cards and probably will get a few more out before Christmas comes. Here are my first two for this year. Isn't this elf cute? This is one of a set of four. My friend Kristen inspired this layout.
Have a Winsomely Wednesday!

Super Cute Kerry...What adorable Elves!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Wow, that's funny that your LSS had so many of those stamps, I haven't even seen them carried around here. Oh well... you made such cute things with them that I was inspired to find them online.
Kerry, I love what you have done with the Merry Pursuits stamps! Very inspiring.
As the admin of SBS-12 (and CTMH consultant), I need to inform you about some improper behavior of one of your SBS-24 members, Ceal Pritchett. I would hate for your group to be scammed like more than 20 of us were.
I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings here, so please email me at rhwcrafts@yahoo.com or craftyrachel@myctmh.com

Very cute Elf cards and the wall hanging. I was a quilter too. I do take the time to admire anything hand made, that's what's great about rubber stampers, we get it. Good job!
Great card Kerry! Your coloring is superb!
Beautiful little elf cards! And I am one who definitely happens to appreciate handmade Christmas cards! *wink* *wink*!
Also, that log cabin little quilt is amazing!! I took a class and started one but it's never been finished, and that was 17 years ago! yikes!
