Sophie Moose is shakin' again! I just love these moose! Have I mentioned that before? I love the size of the Mini Mates sentiments. I just wish I always had exactly the saying I wanted in them. "You're Sweet" is replacing the "Thank You" that I was looking for.

I didn't have a chance to participate in Mary Jo's sketch challenge this week, but head on over there and check out her splendiferous creations! You can get links to several other highly creative gal's blogs too!

I got some stamps from Inky Antics yesterday and still have only inked up one from my Whipper Snapper order that I got 2 weeks ago! Boohooo! I WANT to stamp. I have ideas...sometimes! LOL! I just need time...time...time!!

Yeah, I don't see any extra time laying around in the next month. School is ending and we are having a large party here at my house next month, so we are trying to do things around here that we have been neglecting. We are installing new floors throughout most of the 1st floor. There are carpets there now. The previous owners had no kids...and white carpets (white EVERYTHING, actually) throughout the house. For now, (I hate 'for now'...it always turns into forever!) We are installing those Pergo laminate floors that look like hardwood. I hope it looks ok and not cheezey! It has got to look better than the dirty carpets that are there right? And yucky vinyl (white, of course!) floor that is in the kitchen....right? I didn't want to go with expensive tiles or hardwood that we may rip out in a few years when we want to do some major renovations.

Also we have a large yard. About an acre of just grass. (not including the other 2 acres of trees). The yard is in need of some TLC. We have seriously neglected it. DH has spread about 13 of the 20 yards of mulch! And pulled about a million weeds. Plus we have to maintain the pool and hopefully keep the LOUD gray tree frogs from mating around there! (Don't forget to turn your speakers up all the way and keep playing it over and over and over again....that is what my back yard sounds like at night.) Last year those buggers matted in our kiddie pool that was on the back porch. I couldn't bring myself then to dump the tadpoles. So the kids went without the kiddie pool. This year, I am not keeping water in that pool, unless the kids are in it! In case, you are still reading and haven't guessed yet, we live "out in the country". I mean we live in a neighborhood, its not like it is 2 miles to the next neighbor...but it is pretty country-ish here. We don't have a traffic light in town. We have to share a high school with other towns.

also we are also converting a room into a temporary bedroom for Orla. And trying to prepare for a major addition onto the house. AND I am trying to clean out cabinets and closets...Jeesh, where does all the STUFF come from?! I wish I could bring myself to just throw it all out!

Ok....if you are still reading this vent session I appreciate it! So leave a comment on this post by 8pm (EDT) on Thursday June 19th and I will randomly choose three people to recieve a stamping goodie from me.

Off to clean.

Okay, I notice you are cleaning and trying to discard old stuff...but I also see you are still buying new stuff LOL!!! Right up my alley, dump some old stuff to make new for some more.

I'm right there with you on the carpets, we are ready for some hardwoods as I'm tired of breaking out the green bissell for carpet cleaning every few weeks.

Good luck with the cleaning! I am getting new area rugs and giving up on the old ones. Our hardwood is a mess!
Let me know if you need help.

First off, love the coloring on the moose!! Gosh, I need to find time to stamp. I haven't been stamping because *I* have been spreading 17 yards of mulch, and weeding, and maintaining the pool...LOL! You're doing an addition now? I'd love to hear about it. You're in a cape, right? We have a gambrel cape and put a 2 car garage/family room addition on 3 years ago...best thing we ever did. Of course, now Connor thinks the family room is his own carpet hockey rink. Kids...

Good luck with everything!
