Happy Monday! I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer so far. It was pretty overcast here in Massachusetts all weekend. But DH and I spent Saturday installing a floor in our family room. board by board....today I still feel like I ran a marathon. I used muscles that haven't been used in YEARS. LOL! I am sore! Next weekend we are doing the kitchen and the hallway...I may be immobile by next Monday! LOL! However the floor looks nice. :) Definitely better than the icky carpet that was there. well worth the sore muscles.

Thankfully I had done Mary Jo's sketch challenge earlier in the week because I really liked this sketch. A couple of my new Whipper Snapper Stamps fit perfectly into this sketch. So I was twice as happy! :)
I colored the beverage using my Groovy Guava reinker and the aqua painter. For the rest of the image I dusted of my Watercolor Crayons. I decided to give them a fresh try...and I enjoyed them more than I did in the past.
The 3 little flowers were cut from som flower ric rac I had. (You can view it uncut here) I needed teeny tiny somethings for the middle of them. I did not want to deal with beads, though. I looked in my rhinestone stash and I did not have any tiny rhinestones that matched my card. My green SU! rhinestone brads matched well, but they were too big. Then I noticed that I could probably take the brad apart. And they came apart rather easily so that the rhinestone was not embedded in the silver fastener. PERFECT! So I just glued the tiny gem in the middle.

I applied several layers of Crystal Effects (something else I have not used in quite awhile!) to the glass and some stickles to the rim of the glass (to look like a little bit of margarita salt maybe?) I just felt like it NEEDED glitter in the image somewhere! And for a little more sparkle I used my 2 way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to add some sparkle to the rim of the cs. You can click on the close up up image to view it larger.

Don't forget to check out Mary Jo's blog to see her fabulous work and the links to others who participated in this challenge.

Have a splediferous week!
