Ink: Black Staz On; Chocolate Chip

You what I hate? When I am almost done with a card...it is all stamped, colored and put together and I just have to stamp that sentiment on. You know when you just want it directly on there...no layers or anything...and dang! you mess up the whole card by stamping it crooked or messy! That's what happened with this card. I planned to just stamp the "Hay There!" on the beige DSP that is part of the card base and... UGH! It was crooked, worse it had a shadow around it. :( That is one thing I like about cutting and mounting my own stamps....I cut real close to the image...IA stamps could be cut with a little less rubber around the image. Anyhoooooo, I tried a couple of fix ups and this is what I settled on....I think I actually like it.
Speaking of Riley Moose...Hanna Stamps release 20 more Riley and Sophie images on Friday. go check them out...way cute!!!
Edited to add that the large scallops are made from SU!'s oval punch.
Next up is another image challenge card. Another card for Leigh, too. I hate sending cards to Leigh the Great...there is too much pressure. ;)
This image swap was hosted by Kristen. She also provided a sentiment that reads "Happy Birthday with Sprinkles on Top" so that is in the inside. And it meant my cupcake needed sprinkles. So I took my 2-way glue pen and made those little lines and covered them with the cosmo glitter I NEEDED and just finally used for this. :P The berry is also covered in cosmo glitter.
Here is a close up of the berry and sprinkles. Remember you can click on any photo to see it larger.
Stamps: Just Johanna
Paper: So Saffron; Bashful Blue; White; Certainly Celery; Basic Grey Two Scoops.
Ink: Black Staz On
Other: SU!'s Fine Cosmo Glitter; pink Eyelets; CuttleBug and embossing folder; Nestibilities

CUTE! How did you make the big scallops? I always mess up on the sentiment and refuse to start over!
What were you doing up at 5:47am??
How cute! I love those papers too. This is just wonderful. Thanks so much for playing.
I love your card Kerry. I acutally have that stamp, but it yet has seen ink. I love the way you turned it.
Great idea to turn the sketch - beautiful clovers and clever use of the oval punch.
Great card, love the moose! Your cupcake looks yummy also!
I hear you regarding the sentiment, I usually hesitate stamping but then pray it works! LOLOL! I get so upset when it messes up!
Love the second card too! Great job on the cupcake. I have a glue pen and never use it, I think I got rid of all my glitter.
Your Riley card is just too cute. I hate when I mess up in the end too. You did a great job on the cover up.
Love your moose card!! Those oval scallops are fabulous, never seen that before, very clever! Your Leigh card is awesome too! I know what you mean about sending cards to her, but this is very worthy! ha! ha!
Love your interpretation of MJ's sketch, I just went on line this morning and bought six more Riley's. Your card is adorable. Love the cup cake card too, it was very Leigh-worthy. Been in that spot myself, eeks. Both cards are very colorful and creative.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMM what a yummie card!!
Great cards Kerry...I was excited when I saw your Riley Moose card because guess what...I have that same paper (just recently purchased it) - We seem to have similiar tastes in stamps and paper.
Great job with the cupcake card too. Lots of great details. Ida
You love that tractor. I swear they designed it for you. awesome colors, couldn't have been better.

FABULOUS job with Riley, Kerry! I love it. And your coloring is so good. I have coloring envy...
Love the scalloped part of it! Very creative.
