Lunch Time Sketch #20

Stamps: Lockhart Paper: Certain Celery; Close to Cocoa; polka dots: unknown Ink: Certain Celery; Close to Cocoa; Pretty in Pink; Staz On Black Other: Celery Brads; SU! red bling brad; Stickles; aqua painter; Nestibilities
(the colors look off in this pic...I tried adjusting them and I think I made it worse. I apologize)
I did manage to squeeze out a few cards last night. It's not that I don't want to stamp...It is just tough to make the time lately. :( I am trying. I'll be trying particularly hard to make time this week as I just place a nice Whipper Snapper order and my package is to be delivered tomorrow. Yay!

This cupcake card measures 5" square. I wish I made it the standard 4.25"x5.5". It just seems like too much space to me. I don't know....seems like it is missing something...or something.

Next up is this flip flop card. This seems a bit too much for me. Well, I guess I just don't like the pumpkin colored flip flops. I was trying to pull more colors from the backround paper....but again...I am just not 100% about this card.
Stamp: Flip Flops by Imaginesce; Crosshatch by SU Paper: Ruby Red; Blue Bayou; It's a Shore Thing by Imaginesce Ink: Basic Grey; Pumpkin Pie; Blue Bayou; Versamark Other: brads; Stickles; Nestibilities; CM cutting system; aqua painter

Here is the original sketch that MJ gave us.

Head on over to Mary Jo's Blog (TechnoStamper) to check out her take on this sketch and links to the rest of the "team". Enjoy!

I know that it is hard to adjust to a new size card but you did a LOVELY job with your cards. I like them both, especially your idea to make the "layer" by tearing and cutting your paper. What a COOL idea.

Love the paper and how you captured a nice summer feel. The torn wave really accents the theme.
