Stamps: Whipper Snapper Goat, Weathered back round, Simple Sayings 2
Colors: Garden Green; Creamy Caramel; Chocolate Chip
Image colored with Prismas and Gamsol
My hubby, Patrick, was raised on a farm in Ireland. And even though we live in the suburbs, he still is a farmer at heart. He can be very contrary. lol. 10 years ago we moved from the city to the suburbs, at the closing on the house the lawyer mentioned that we were not allowed to have any hoofed livestock. I laughed, like we want hoofed livestock?! Well that is all Pat needed to decided he wanted hoofed livestock! LOL! Goats in particular. Why? Just because he was told no. Fast forward 4 years--we move again. To "the country". I wouldn't say we live in a rural town. There are about 12,000 residents. We have a Dunkin' Donuts. A bunch of pizza places. But there are farms. Lots of people with horses, and chickens here and there. No traffic lights. After the lawyer left the closing of this house, Pat immediately said: "He didn't say we couldn't have goats!" I laughed. ha ha ha...ha. Yep, you guessed it, we have goats. Just 2. Pygmy Goats. They are very cute and affectionate. I am not sure that our neighbors feel that way! lol.
When I saw this Whipper Snapper stamp, designed by Anna Wight, I loved it! I finally bought it a few weeks back. Sunday is DH's birthday so I made him a Birthday card. The inside reads "...You Old Goat!"
