Happy Hump Day! How was your Tuesday? A few months back we ordered from Spiral Whisper. This owl stamp is one that Kristen got. I stamped a few images for myself. I think the image is so cute! But I attempted this guy once before and made a mess of him. Kristen posted a cute card with him yesterday and inspired me to try again. I am not thrilled with him...I think I need more brown Copics...more! more! more! hahahaha

Notice my "whimsical sewing" attempt again? I am so pitiful with that machine. I was trying to go for a country-ish look...yeaaaaaaah...instead, I got a drunk red-neck look. tsk...tsk...tsk... But I was inspired to maybe use it again in the future. But I think until I practice a little more, I should stick with straight lines and my "messy on purpose/whimsical sewing" look. :P

Don't forget about the blog candy that I mentioned here.

Have a Halcyon Wednesday!

  2. Awwwww.....how cute!! Love that image. I never would have done that because I'm such a neat freak and I'm surprised you did (drunk stitching) but I love it!

  3. Cute, Cute, Cute! The expression on the owls face is so funny.

Kerry you just "Crack me Up!" - I feel so much better now knowing that someone else is "sewing" challenge besides me.

Kudos though for giving it a good shot and it doesn't look all that bad either. I'm still dragging out my old Singer until I can afford the Janome but I know I'll need a lot more practce even when I do get one.
