Hello! Friday=Blogger's Challenge day. Today's theme was "Giving Thanks". Whatever the theme was I needed to work one of my Tilda stamps in...After all, I hadn't made a Tilda Card all week!! LOL! They are addictive! And soon the New Years Collection will be available! YAY! You can preorder them from Diana Crick at Magnolia-licious. Warning: they are so cute that you will want them all!
hmmmm...do you ever notice things about your card after you take your pic or scan? I do...almost every card! I feel like when I see the cards on the computer all the flaws are exaggerated. Right now I have just noticed that I forgot all my little white "highlights" that I usually add to Tilda. If it weren't so late I'd go do it and re scan, crop...etc...but it is almost 1am and I am pooped. Thank goodness you're so forgiving! ;)
Can you believe that it is November 21st already? I feel like Halloween was just last week! But Thanksgiving will be here in just 6 days. Where is time going? We are doing something different for Thanksgiving this year. About 25 years ago my parents bought 2 time share weeks on Cape Cod. One during the summer and one Thanksgiving week. We never went there during the Thanksgiving week...I think they bought the fall week to trade...anyhow, my mom and I were discussing Thanksgiving and Christmas and who would host what & where and she suggested we go to the Cape for Thanksgiving. Pat, the kids, myself, my mom, and my sister Tricia. My other sister, Katie, always goes to her in-laws for Thanksgiving. We usually pick up other "stragglers" for the holidays. Family friends who are empty-nesters with kids away....Pat's sister and her boyfriend...whoever! It's nice. The one good thing about almost all of Pat's family living in Ireland is that we don't have to worry about which family to spend which holidays with. :)
The kids will enjoy themselves for a few day, as the place has a nice indoor pool and jacuzzi. But it will seem a little weird...Not being home. What do you do for Thanksgiving?

Have a Relishable Weekend!!

I think your coloring looks fabulous and the card is adorable! I know what you mean though about seeing flaws once you see them on the screen.

ReplyDeleteHow lucky for you to get to spend Thanksgiving at Cape Cod! I've never been, but I hear it's spectacular. I love that your family invites those not necessarily in your family...after all, that's exactly how the FIRST Thanksgiving was.
Many happy days for you, and I hope you take pictures to share with us when you get home.
Happy Thanksgiving!
